Our Story
Earlybirds was established in November 2002, following the birth of founder Lynda Day's son who was ten weeks premature, weighing 1.2 kgs/3 pounds. Lynda experienced enormous difficulty finding clothes to fit her baby during his first few months. To alleviate this problem for other parents and carers, Lynda decided to develop a range of clothing specifically for premature and small babies.
Research and Development
After 12 months research involving Paediatricians, NICU specialists and parents, Earlybirds' Sunnydays collection was born. As premature babies' needs are different, great care has been taken in selecting designs and materials to ensure maximum comfort and ease of dressing. The highest quality natural and organic cotton have been sourced and tested thoroughly. Earlybirds has received accreditation from the INPAA (Infant Nursery Products Association of Australia) and is working in partnership with SIDS and Kids to promote Safe Sleeping Guidelines

The range includes three collections, Sunnydays made from natural cotton and Organics made from certified organic cotton, and Bigger Birds designed to cater for the needs of the growing early bird.
